Paralyzed Veterans of America Applauds Passage of Bill Making Air Travel More Accessible

Passage comes following the 32nd anniversary of the original landmark Air Carrier Access Act designed to protect passengers with disabilities

WASHINGTON, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ —Paralyzed Veterans of America┬áis hailing the passage of the Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Act of 2018 (H.R. 302) through the U.S. Senate today by a vote of 93 to 6. The legislation includes a ‘bill of rights’ and an advisory panel for passengers with disabilities, as well as revised training and procedures for TSA screenings of people with disabilities.
