Jason-Roy-authorAbout Jason: Jason Roy, a Houston, Texas native, attended Sharpstown High School and is a graduate of Texas Southern University. In 2003, Jason completed his Bachelors of Science in Administration of Justice, which was the prelude to his pursuit of a career in law enforcement. In 2006, Jason joined the Houston Police Department, where he would eventually be promoted to the Crime Reduction Unit of the Gang Division in 2008. He was a member of this elite force until his career came to an abrupt end after being involved in a near fatal, high speed chase while in the line of duty. On May 3, 2011, Jason found himself fighting for his life once more after becoming trapped in the wreckage of his squad car.
