BRECKENRIDGE – The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation (CRPF) has awarded the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) a $10,000 Quality of Life Grant as part of more than $713,000 it distributed to 103 organizations nationwide recently.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ — Today, Dana Reeve, wife of actor Christopher Reeve, a director of the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation (CRPF) and Chair of the Quality of Life Committee, visited the Walter Reed Army Medical Center to present a Quality of Life Grant check to the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine.

Actor Christopher Reeve, two scientists who discovered an arthritis therapy and a researcher who helped show how cells read their genes have won prestigious medical awards.
The prizes, from the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation, will be awarded Friday in New York. In the last 11 years, 15 scientists who received one have gone on to win a Nobel Prize.
