A Global Community dedicated to individuals seeking or offering products, services, information, and participation in ensuring that the Web is accessible to people with disabilities, including people who have physical and neurological disabilities.

Beauty Ability
Helps people with disabilities realize they can become beautiful, sexual, and proud; no matter their ability. Provides info on fashion, dating, and sex for women with SCI.  Includes a singles section.

Disabled United
A Disability community with chat rooms, classifieds, and links of interest. Based in UK and geared towards dating.

A nonprofit organization that supports the application of technology to promote the values of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Offers the disability community access to reliable services and products, connection with peer support, and disability-related news and information all day every day.

iCan.com
A resource for information, guidance, conversation and companionship. Brings together content, community and resources in one place for those who face the daily challenges of living with a disability, and those who have a personal connection to the disability community.

Peer Zone – British Columbia Paraplegic Association
Site where people with spinal cord injuries can have their questions answered, see what is possible, and get informed about events being held in the Vancouver Area.

Quad Central
Community dedicated to SCI and disability issues.  They work together on projects such as letter writing campaigns to let our representatives know where they stand.  Offers a chat room with scheduled meetings, current disability information and a discussion area for asking questions.

Quad Link
A community of quadriplegics with a chat room and several links of interest.  Offers a list of the community’s members and their personal homepages.  Chats are Wednesday evenings from about 9:00pm ET and Saturday at 2:00pm ET.

SCI Community Center
A place for people with a spinal cord injury, their family, friends, caregivers, or anybody else interested in SCI to connect with each other from around the world.  Access their free message boards, email discussion list, chat room, and newsletter.  Also has free email accounts.

World Association of Persons with Disabilities (WAPD).
A nonpartisan, nonprofit association under God. Site contains disability resources such as a newsletter, bulletin board, chat room and disability links to laws, technology, advocacy, health for parents, professionals, researchers, etc.

A UK based site.  Committed to providing information, products and services that will enable disabled people to live independent lives.  Offers a community where all users can freely exchange information and ideas.
