The Quadriplegic Association of KwaZulu/Natal was established under the umbrella of The National Council for Quadriplegic Associations in South Africa on 9th March 1991, to cater for the needs and aspirations of quadriplegics from all races in theKwaZulu/Natal Region. In 1992 a house was secured on a suspensive sale agreement in Ashley, Pinetown, and in February 1993 thefirst of the present six quadriplegics moved in. The Association has since taken transfer of the property.
