2013 Working 2 Walk SymposiumPush to Walk staff will attend and sponsor the Working 2 Walk Science & Advocacy Symposium in Boston, Massachusetts on September 27 and 28, 2013 hosted by Unite to Fight Paralysis.

Riverdale, NJ (PRWEB) Push to Walk will be in attendance at Working 2 Walk for the organization’s fourth consecutive year. This is the first year where all training staff will be present due to the proximity of the conference. The non-profit promotes furthering education opportunities among its employees and is eager to have its trainers return with a plethora of new information. Push to Walk is also proud to contribute to the event by committing to be a $2,500 Supporter Sponsor for the weekend.

“The Working 2 Walk Science & Advocacy Symposium is a unique opportunity for the spinal cord injury community. The conference brings together all of the stakeholders who are trying to improve recovery and future prospects for everyone living with SCI. The organizers at Unite 2 Fight Paralysis work hard to make the symposium affordable and accessible for all who want to attend. We are fortunate to have the support and participation of the folks at Push to Walk who have been part of the conference for many years. Like U2FP, Push to Walk is driven by people with a personal connection to spinal cord injury, and we value our partnership immensely,” says U2FP Executive Director, Marilyn Smith.

Unite to Fight Paralysis began holding W2W in 2006 to bring research scientists, practitioners, investors, spinal cord injury (SCI) survivors and family members together. Attendees travel from all around the world to attend this annual conference to gain greater knowledge about the latest advancements in research and network with others.

Push to Walk uses exercise trainers certified in methods known to help people regain strength, function and independence and provide one-on-one workouts to their clients. The next closest facilities of this kind are located in Boston and North Carolina.
