The SpecialEffect Charity, which runs the GameBase, began as a result of an award winning Ace Centre Project.
SpecialEffect is dedicated to helping ALL young people with disabilities to enjoy computer games. We’ll do whatever it takes, because we’ve seen first hand what a kick-start effect they can can have on motivation, inclusion and quality of life.
So why the Gamebase? We wanted a place where we could use the knowlege and experience we have gained, to reach a wider audience. Not only that, but somewhere we could share ideas and learn from others with their own experience and knowledge.
Whether it’s submitting reviews, posting questions or answers in the forums or simply using the information on the site to help you or someone you know play games, we want you to get involved!
