Nick Scott – 2011 IFBB Pro Wheelchair Championships, October 15th, 2011 IFBB Professional Wheelchair Bodybuilders Houtson, TexasOctober 15th, 2011 at the Houston Pro Show this is the first time that the IFBB Officially has added an IFBB Professional Wheelchair Division.
This will be the first time in the History and in the World that a Professional Disable Sport will be on the same as a Non-Disable Professional Sport. Only IFBB Professional Wheelchair Bodybuilders are allowed to compete at this show, no Amateur Wheelchair Bodybuilders.
There are ONLY 13 IFBB Professional Wheelchair Bodybuilders around the world that have earned the elite status as an IFBB Pro.
For a Wheelchair Bodybuilder to earn their IFBB Pro Card, they must win the Overall Title at the NPC Wheelchair Nationals or the NPC USA Wheelchair Championship. The NPC USA Wheelchair Championship was approved to grant an IFBB Pro Card starting in 2011. International Wheelchair Bodybuilders must be approved for IFBB Pro Status, no International Wheelchair Bodybuilding Show grants IFBB Pro Status. Only the NPC Wheelchair Nationals and NPC USA Wheelchair Championship in the USA will grant an IFBB Pro Cards.
