In 2007 a paraplegic and his two friends paddled the length of the Mississippi river. To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the finish, they are releasing a short documentary film about their Odyssey on YouTube.
‘Brokeback River’ is a short, inspirational and humorous tale which will be enjoyed by anyone, and will hopefully motivate those who have sustained a life changing injury or ailment.
The film also attempts to be an antidote to most other ‘look what I did!’ stories. Here our leading protagonists combine the deadly necessity of staying alive on a treacherous river with banter, drinking and adult themes. It is therefore not suitable for children.
