A spinal cord injury can be devastating. It only takes a second, but it lasts forever, changing every aspect of a person’s life. The British Columbia Paraplegic Association is a lifeline for people with spinal cord injuries. Each year in British Columbia an additional 150 people (approximately) sustain a spinal cord injury. Through offices in 6 centres around BC, we help people to rebuild their lives. We believe that everyone has a contribution to make – that helping people with spinal cord injuries to participate in their communities is an invaluable investment for everyone.
