creeve125Christopher Reeve will be honored as the first-ever recipient of CNN’s HEROES’ HERO award as part of CNN HEROES: An All-Star Tribute. Hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Christiane Amanpour, and broadcast live around the world on CNN, CNN International, and CNN en Espanol.

As a culmination of CNN’s year long initiative honoring ordinary people doing extraordinary things, they are giving the Heroes’ Hero award to an individual who dedicated his or her life to helping others, and whose very name has become synonymous with their cause.

Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation is humbled that CNN has chosen Christopher as their Heroes’ Hero.
